June marks the beginning of the salmon runs with the arrival of the King Salmon. Kings weighing up to 60 pounds and closing out the season with the Silver Salmon arriving in early August and available through September. Our Rainbows and Grayling are always here with the fishing for our protected Alaskan trout especially exciting when the salmon spawn. It remains excellent right up till freeze up. Come and experience the most exciting fishing of your life.

Guide Services

Our guides and all the personnel of Alaska Flyfishing Expeditions work for us because of their love of fly fishing and the Alaskan outdoors. They are very experienced, helpful, and sensitive to our fisheries. Our guides will give every member of the expedition the necessary attention to insure successful fishing and a memorable experience.

Provided by guide - Rods - 9' (6-9 weight lines -10 weight for kings) Lines - Dry and Sink Tip Reels - with good drag and backing Flies - four dozen Leader and Tippets - 2-25 pounds

Vest Supplies

Provided by guide - Wader repair kit, pliers or hemostats, clippers, leader material, 1/4 pound of #7 split shot, fly box, extra spool, box of Zip Lock bags, small flashlight, knife, toilet paper, film, camera, sunscreen, bug repellant. Guests are required to bring their own polarized sunglasses!
